(September 14, 2012 - Toronto) Risk Control Technologies Inc., the industry-leading provider of risk control software solutions for insurers, today announced that the latest version of RC Inspection – version 4 has been officially deployed in production.
The latest version of the risk control system includes many new features which will further aid insurers using RC Inspection in streamlining loss control processes. In addition to a complete user interface refresh, version 4 includes a long list of enhancements, including:
- Integration with the Google Maps API for geo-coding and multiple location mapping
- Introduction of an iPad/iOS version of the RC Inspection tablet field application
- Multiple photo upload to allow users to easily bulk add a large number of survey photos
- Additional recommendation management tools including an automated recommendation follow up and reminder feature
- Configurable automated survey assignment rules using any request parameter
- Addition of an ad-hoc reporting tool which allows data-mining and extracts on all data elements within a survey

RC Inspection is currently used by a large number of insurers throughout North America to manage their loss control operations. The product is an end-to-end risk control management solution, which manages all aspects of account management, insurance inspection and loss control service for insurers. The system enables insurers to equip field staff with tablet devices, loaded with the RC inspection field inspection software application in order to collect risk data, photos, recommendations and diagrams in the field, even in locations without wireless broadband connections. Once data is collected in the field, it is then uploaded into a central database which allows underwriters to utilize the information in making underwriting decisions. This central data repository also offers data mining and reporting capabilities which have traditionally been unavailable in the paper-based loss control environment in which most insurers operate.
RC Inspection is a web-based solution that is available to insurers to install on-premises, or on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) basis by Risk Control Technologies, leveraging cloud technologies.
